Former Playboy Bunny Holly Madison said she lost her identity and self-worth inside the Playboy mansion

The Playboy Mansion may be viewed as a paradise to some, but apparently, a former Playboy Bunny thinks otherwise. Holly Madison, who appeared in "The Girls Next Door," claims that she considered committing suicide while living inside the infamous Playboy mansion.

"The Girls Next Door" is one of the most famous reality shows to break the television next to "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The Playboy Bunnies were viewed as living glamorous lives as the girls were often seen hosting parties and lounging by the pool all day long.

Such was not the case, though, when the lights and cameras turned off, as former Playboy Bunny Holly Madison recently claimed that life inside the Playboy Mansion was not as glamorous as viewers once thought of.

In the press release for her new memoir, "The Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny," publisher Harper Collins stated (via Mirror) that Madison lost her "identity, her sense of self-worth, and her hope for the future."

The release stated that Madison even considered taking her own life while she was sitting alone in a bathtub inside the mansion.

Collins also said that Madison's memoir is "shockingly candid and surprisingly moving," as she describes what these ladies really experienced inside the infamous Playboy mansion, away from the lights and cameras and the memoir will also give viewers some insights on the famous Mr. Playboy, Hugh Hefner.

According to Daily Mail, Madison became famous for starring in the 2005 reality show, "The Girls Next Door" alongside Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt.

The outlet said that Madison used to be Hefner's number one girl amongst the three ladies, sharing his bedroom with him rather than staying on her own room.

Madison is now married to Pascquale Rotella.

"The Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny" will be released in June.
