Game Freak, the developer of Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire has finally released an official release date of Tembo the Badass Elephant for PS4, XBox One and PC platforms which will take place in summer of this year while Battle Season 9 is up and running until May 17th.
According to the site, Sega executive John Clark was delighted to have been working with Game Freak. The combined efforts of Sega and Game Freak brought the game into a heavyweight of adventure. "It's a trunkful of fun and we think gamers are going to love it. Hopefully more than my rubbish puns." Clark stated.
It was revealed that the new title, "Tembo the Badass Elephant" has already been in development for 6 months. The idea was initially from the director and character designer of Game Freak itself, James Turner.
Basically, the plot involves an Asian elephant named Tembo who was assigned a mission by his military general best friend. One of Tembo's skills is to suck water using his trunk from a fire extinguisher then throw uppercuts.
Although, Tempo the Badass Elephant are made available to new generation consoles, Nintendo won't be included when Game Freak has been the sole developer of the "Pokemon" franchise since "Pokemon Red and Blue".
Meanwhile the new season for Battle Season 9 for both "Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" has already up and running since March 17 through May 17 of this year. According to the website, ninth season will be following standard league roles for game battles. It will last for 10 minutes per set and selection for battle Pokemon lasts for 30 seconds.
"Tembo the Badass Elephant" is now available on new generation consoles such as PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms that will be launched this summer while Special Battle Season 9 is on the run up until May 17.
