Five months before the reported release of iPhone 6s, the web has been saturated with buzz of killer specs and designs for Apple's upcoming flagship smartphone that is expected to change the face of the tech market to a whole new level.

Powerful processors, metal chassis, glass edge technology, water and dustproof build and a lot more promising features have been showcased by different firms in the market to banner their brand. However, Apple is quite unique of them all.

While managing to maintain its most-coveted spot on the top of the game, the tech titan is not giving nonchalance over strict rivalry as other companies start to offer impressive specs and configurations too. Here's a reported total upgrade for iPhone 6s.

Force Touch Technology

Apple Watch is first to introduce the Force Touch technology. A 3D pressure sensor will be used to determine whether a touch is a mere tap of a press. With this technology, Apple has to overhaul screen display of iPhone as Apple Watch did make use of OLED display and electrode sensor to support Force Touch.

A9 Processor

With A9 processor, Apple is expected to hit the mark and make an impressive 3.5 times performance for iPhone 6s compared to its predecessors. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus still have A8 processor, which is 50 percent less powerful than A9 in terms of graphics performance and power.

A9 processor will be produced by Global Foundries and Samsung Electronics using the 14nm FinFET technology.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is reported to be integrated into the Touch ID sensor which can track gait, vocabulary and grammar, location data and even magnetic fields. With the new Apple Pay, mobile payments is promised to be more secure and protected.

A patent released recently shows that the Touch ID fingerprint sensor will be placed on the home button.

Wireless Charging

With Samsung already embarked on this technology with Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, Apple is expected to follow the lead. However, other reason points to the proposed bill in the European Parliament obliging radio equipment makers to use common external power supply.

Under Power Matters Alliance (PMA), members Samsung, Huawei, Toshiba, Qualcomm and Microsoft are reported to bring a universal wireless charging standard. Inductive charging and reversible USB charger has already been presented to Apple Watch.

Gorilla is known to be durable quality and prevents scratches from further propagating in comparison to a normal glass.

A 20 megapixel rear camera is reported to replace iPhone 6 and 6 Plus' 8 megapixel camera. It is expected to produce DSLR-quality images, in place of the common True Tone flash technology. This is deemed the biggest camera leap in the history of smartphone. With dual-lens camera, it maximizes zoom ability.

Headset

A computer-generated headset had been leaked through a patent proposed by Apple. With U.S. Patent No. 8,957,835, the proposal entitled "Head-Mounted Display Apparatus for Retaining a Portable Electronic Device with Display" will bring in moveable electronics device which can be worn over the head.

Screen Display

iPhone 6s is expected to come out with 4.7-inch display with slimmer, lighter and rounder edges. To challenge Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge, Apple is reported to sport a smartphone whose displays have slimmer bezels with touch screen sides.

Touch screen sides will have unlocking access, music player buttons, messaging details, caller ID and system controls.

Memory

A whopping 2 GB of RAM is expected to hit iPhone 6s. With LPDDR4 RAM technology, the phone will have a more efficient memory capacity. Also, additional RAM enables iOS to background tasks and tabs open for longer time without the need to reload or refresh. However, it might compromise the battery life.
