Charlie Hunnam is known for his toned muscles, but many people were wondering how the "Sons of Anarchy" star manages to stay fit for his upcoming movie, "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur."
"I go into the gym and do 75 pullups, 75 dips, 150 squats, 150 pushups, and then 20 minutes of ab work," revealed Hunnam in an interview with Men's Health.
He also revealed that despite his toned body, he does not really have a trainer whenever he works out for an hour.
While most people may workout for the physical benefits, Hunnam, on the other hand, tries to focus more on the mental benefits of working out.
"I can get slightly dark when I'm not keeping a routine. It's all about feeling healthy and energetic," he admitted.
Hunnam has also previously signed up to play Christian Grey in the erotic novel-based movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey." He revealed that it would be "painful" for him to watch the movie because he has invested a lot in the character.
He admitted that he decided to turn down the offer because he had an overloaded schedule back then with his TV series, "Sons of Anarchy."
When asked if he would consider doing a full frontal, Hunnam confidently told Elle Canada that he is sure he would now that he has "nothing to hide."
He said that he is no longer bothered whenever he takes his shirt off in public and even recounted the time when he did full frontal back when he was 18 for "Queer as Folk."
"Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur" will be directed by Guy Ritchie. The movie is set for a July 22, 2016 release.
According to Warner Bros. (via The Wrap), the film will revolve around the story of young Arthur and his journey into becoming the King after getting his hands on the Excalibur.
