New patches set to address load time issues and add features to "Bloodborne": Online mode and bonus features also added

With "Bloodborne" set to hit store shelves starting on the 24th, one nagging complaint has remained persistent across all those who have had the privilege to try it out before it was formally launched.

The complaint is focused on the lengthy load times for whenever a player's character is first being loaded to start the game or whenever the character respawns after being killed, according to Just Push Start.

From Software, developer of "Bloodborne," has acknowledged the issue of the long loading times and released a statement pertaining to the problem.

"The development team is currently exploring another patch for Bloodborne, seeking ways to improve load time duration, in addition to other performance optimizations and miscellaneous bug fixes," said From Software.

Gamers looking to purchase a copy of "Bloodborne" should also know that a patch needs to be downloaded for it. The 2.7 GB patch is already accessible to those who pre-ordered the game through the Playstation Network. People who opt to purchase the game in disc form will have to wait for the patch once they are able to load "Bloodborne" for the first time, according to Techno Buffalo.

The patch also gives players access to online play and the Chalice Dungeons feature.

It will also give players the chance to choose whether to use their character name or their online name whenever they are playing in multiplayer mode, according to Eurogamer.

The patch will also address some pre-existing bugs within the game and enhance its the overall mechanics of play.

The total amount of space needed for the pre-load download of "Bloodborne" will come in at a hefty 29.89 GB. It is also expected to occupy right around 41GB of space on the Playstation 4.

"Bloodborne" is now available in North America. The game will be released in the UK on March 27.
