General Hospital this week sees the much awaited arrival of Jake's wife, Hailey. She drops a knock at the door just as when Jake and Liz are about to get cozy. Liz is doubtful and suspicious but she cannot help herself but be overwhelmed of the situation. Carly has the same reaction about Hailey's arrival but will she make moves to find out who is behind this scheme and stop it?
Maxie Jones visits Lulu to seek her advice about her feelings for both Nathan and Damien. However, while she speaks with her, she hears from Dante that Nathan and Damien were boxing at the gym. Upon hearing the news, she rushes to the gym and found Nathan delivers light punches on The Jackal.
Maxie is infuriated in the fact that they used her as a prize and more on Nathan for he engages in a fight knowing that he can beat Spinelli with good grace. Nathan on the other hand can easily dismiss that it was Damien that started the fight. However, many speculate Damien being the underdog may just help him win Maxie's heart for good. Maxie sees how brave Spinelli was for fighting Nathan knowing he can be effortlessly thrashed by Nathan's power.
On the other hand, Michael Quartermaine warns Morgan Corinthos that Avery can never be taken away from him and that the baby can never part of Morgan's life. Moreover, Michael's warning extends to Kiki, Avery's sister. With this development, both Kiki and Morgan are determined to pursue their plans to make Michael appear alcoholic and a drug user thus making him in poor condition to continue taking care of Avery. Parts of their plans involve switching of Michael's regular allergy pills with another pill. Also, they will start spreading rumors about the Quartermaine's drug use and abuse history.
Furthermore, Ava Jerome beseeches Silas Clay to kill her and free her from the pain she is suffering because of cancer. As expected, Silas vehemently refuses and pushes him to look for ways how to save Ava. He realizes that if Julian and Kiki end up in the custody of Avery, then the donation becomes easier. From here, it is not difficult to foresee that Silas may dip his fingers in the ongoing legal battle.
