Rob Kardashian has caused quite a stir recently after sharing a perplexing Instagram post where he compared his sister Kim Kardashian West to the psychotic killer in "Gone Girl" played by actress Rosamund Pike.
Rob, 28, posted a bizarre bloody image of Pike's villainous character Amy Dunne on Sunday, March 22, with a caption: "This is my sister kim, the bitch from Gone Girl."
This is said to be the first post the former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has made since deleting his account history and unfollowing his famous family members on Instagram. Rob has not been seen in public for months since his declaration last year that he wanted to leave the family's hit reality show.
Rob's latest post may indicate the growing antagonism between him and Kim, 34. It will be recalled that the two siblings reportedly had a falling out last year over Kim's wedding to Kanye West, according to Daily Mail.
In a recent update, however, a source close to the "KUWTK" stars told People that no one among the family is particularly bothered by Rob's Instagram diss towards Kim, calling the issue "so dumb."
"He's been depressed and just a bit off in general," the source revealed. "But he has always been this way. He just can't lose the weight and he doesn't try - he just sits around."
Another insider told E! similar statements: "He's just being crazy and he think it's funny. He can just be a little bizarre with his humor."
Rob's other sister, Khloe Kardashian, 30, earlier has expressed concern over his well-being, claiming that he is suffering from "social anxiety." The youngest Kardashian sister said her brother is "definitely not at his happiest place that he once was," but hoped he will "know that he always has people to lean on."
Indeed, Rob seems to be pretty closer to older sis Khloe. Last week, the only Kardashian brother just celebrated his 28th birthday, and Khloe once again expressed her support for her struggling sibling.
"Never will I ever meet another man as great as you! I know this is the year where you will find your happiness again!" Khloé wrote in her Instagram. "I will be right by your side, holding your hand, every step of the way!!! I adore you my one and only brother!!"
