Following the footsteps of God of War and God of War 2, God of War III Remastered sets itself in PS4 this July 14 this year. Yet, there were reports contrasted its PS4 release on the said date.
God of War series have already attracted gamers that made it one of the greatest franchises of all time from these two entries alone. Thus, it is expected that it would have the same outcomes for the upcoming game.
However, Sony recently said that God of War III will be the only title that will across PlayStation 4 in 1080/60fps action game. This news was revealed by Sony Santa Monica's Aaron Kaufman by saying, "No plans for others in the franchise to bring over."
He added the fact that the purpose of having the remasters for a game title is to allow players to have the opportunity to enjoy the gameplay launched several years ago. For God of War III Remastered, it was launched five years ago. Thus, Sony gave chances to players to play the game, but this is only for this title. No other God of War remasters to expect by then.
"Remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play God of War 3 5 years ago, but who we can bring it on to the PlayStation 4 ... People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone. At Santa Monica Studio, we'd like as many PlayStation fans to experience our games as possible, from generation to generation," he noted.
In addition, the said title is one of those game which has the biggest make-over. As reported, the remastered edition for God of War III will have a "silky smooth" with 1080p, hoping to reach 60fps frame rate.
Moreover, the graphics will be much improved where players could capture vicious kills or even the scenic vistas.
God of War III Remastered will arrive this July 14 in US and 17 in UK, both in PS4 platform. Users can have it through purchasing at the PlayStation Store for $40.
