'Nashville' Season 3 spoilers tease that the show returns with brand-new episodes. It is a couple of weeks away and the lives of the characters continue on. Some hitting rough roads and others are smooth. For instance, Deacon is frustrated with the support given by Rayna. Scarlett worries of performing again. And, Layla's confusion with her situation with Jeff.
The official synopsis for Episode 16 has been released. It reads as follows: "Rayna refuses to let Deacon wallow in his condition, but her support only frustrates him and pushes him away. Meanwhile, Avery, Gunnar and Scarlett are opening for Rascal Flatts on tour, but, when her past public meltdown haunts her on social media, Scarlett becomes wary of performing again."
Meanwhile, Jeff and Layla are said to "blur the lines of business and pleasure," which makes Layla very confused over the situation.
Elsewhere, the supposed-to-be writing partner, Kevin and Will, will hit a snag when Kevin said that he can't push through with writing anymore. Is he only having a writer's block or is he quitting? However, Kevin is no where to be found.
'Nashville' Season 3 spoilers hint also that there is a positive thing that fans could expect in the upcoming episodes. Grammy winner Christina Aguilera has already inked a multi-episode deal with the show, TVLine reported.
Xtina will be playing the role of Jade St. John. Jade is a pop superstar who has been dominating the music industry for quite some time. Jade will be arriving in Music City for a huge two-night show at the Bridgestone Arena but is harboring an ulterior motive: she wants to record a country album.
Via Instagram, Aguilera reveals the exciting acting gig. In the first photo, Aguilera sits on a 'Nashville' chair showcasing her full brunette locks. The photo is captioned "Look at all the hair. Having lots of fun on the set of #Nashville."
In the next photo, Aguilera revealed who her character is. The photo is captioned "Jade's been busy studying her lines."
