Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC Jaws of Hakkon is Now Here

By

The first single player DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition, Jaws of Hakkon has now hit stores. This is the first single player DLC for Dragon Age, though fans are less surprised as leaked updates and screenshots have already confirmed its existence. The price for this new DLC is $14.99 and it's around 1.5 GB in size and it is available first for the Xbox One and PC. The PS4 release date for the DLC is not yet announced.

The Jaws of Hakkon DLC first became news when leaked information in Xbox achievements 'accidentally' showed screenshots of the DLC way before it was even announced. Xbox achievements showed fans hints of the contents of what seemed to be a DLC for Inquisition. The hints were cryptic achievement names that are accompanied with screenshots of the DLC. Following this information leakage, Dragon Age's twitter account officially confirms the existence of the DLC and further revealed that it would be for the Xbox and PC first. They also said that an official DLC trailer will be released on March 24.

The existence of the DLC really excited fans as hopes to continue their Dragon Age experience is now possible. In an interview with Eurogamer, Mike Laidlaw, Dragon Age: Inquisition's creative director said that "he is aware that fans wanted new areas to explore." He also continued that fans "...want more of this game," and "...want to know more about its characters," apparently hinting plans to further flesh out Inquisition's characters and storyline.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is Bioware's main front liner this 2015. An open-world RPG set in a dragon filled Earth, it is the next successful title after Mass Effect 3. Though Bioware fans are already craving for the release of ME4, Dragon Age: Inquisition and any additional add-ons that will be released may be Bioware's solution to quench this ME thirst for a while.
