‘CSI’ Season 16 Cancellation Update: Finale pulled down show’s chances of renewal; Time-slot affected series ratings

By

If you are a fan of crime, forensics and all those investigative TV series, chances are, you are an avid follower of CSI. For those who are born during the 80s, you might have witnessed the show's milestones. After all, it has been in our small screens for almost 15 years. However, it seems that we might not see the show in the future. There are a lot of hearsays that CSI will be cancelled. How true is this?

According from our recent report, CSI's creator still sees the show as a strong one. He believes that the story can grow even further. But even with a great plot in mind, low ratings would definitely affect the network's decision. Even if you create a massive and explosive story line but were only able to engage few audiences, the show will still have to say goodbye.

Another reason to suspect that CSI will be cut off is it was moved to a different schedule during the latest season. Based from observation, if a show isn't doing well at its original time-slot, it will be then moved to another to at least change the course. Some of the fans actually blame the time-slot. They believe it was unfitting for the show. Hence, it was not able to lure a lot of viewers. Let's see if the network would consider.

The last shot would be their finale. Sad to say, it was not that good too. You can blame the other shows for overpowering our favorite CSI. However, Carter Matt has a point when it was shared that another season should take place to be able to tie the loose ends. There are cliffhangers which we want to close off. Hopefully, the network gets that.

If we are to say goodbye to CSI, then we can just check out HULU for the past episodes of our once favorite TV show. We will definitely give you an update if CSI will be renewed. But most probably, this will be cancelled.
