The video clip also revealed that the DVD version of "Fifty Shades of Grey" will be "unrated." The teaser, which has already garnered more than 170,000 views, also features behind-the-scenes commentary from Johnson, Jamie Dornan and "Fifty Shade" author E.L. James.
The movie ending of "Fifty Shades of Grey" was a bit vague, as Ana leaves Christian's apartment after an argument because she was extremely fed up and having realized also the full extent of Christian's preferences in the bedroom.
Because of the YouTube announcement, fans are already speculating on what would be the "alternate ending" of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" DVD release. According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Sam Taylor-Johnson Johnson was in favor of Ana using the safe word "red," while producer E.L. James preferred that Ana tell Christian to "stop." In the film's theatrical release, Ana said "stop."
The Blu-ray edition contains exclusive bonus features, including both the unrated and theatrical versions of the film, character profiles, music videos, and an interview with Fifty Shades author E.L. James. The behind-the-scenes footage of the movie follow director Sam Taylor-Johnson, producers E. L. James, Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti, actors Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, and the rest of the cast through the making of the movie.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" has already made more than $558.3 million in the month since its international release.
