A lot of news about the movie "Suicide Squad" has been circulating the internet. However, this is the only time that an update on Will Smith's Deadshot has surfaced.
According to an Instagram scoop by Latino Review's El Mayimbe, Deadshot is getting a makeover. The caption goes as: "He has the traditional face mask with the target eye although changed to show his lower face.
Recently, there were speculations that "Suicide Squad's" Harley Quinn will have multiple outfits throughout the film, and Joker actor Jared Leto has already bleached his hair and shaved his eyebrows for the role.
Reports said that Will Smith is very much fascinated with his character's motivations to kill for money. Latino Review's details on Deadshot's costume, will now give fans a chance to imagine on what would be Will Smith's costume the "Suicide Squad" movie.
According to sources over at Latino Review, the cinematic Deadshot will retain the traditional target eyepiece and mask from the comics, although the look has been changed a bit so that the lower half of Will Smith's face is showing. Instead of sticking his red, yellow, and silver costume from the comics, the movie version of the molded bulletproof armor costume will be dark red and black. The movie version of Deadshot will also retain his trademark wrist guns, but will be carrying a sniper rifle around for most of the film.
One of the biggest changes in Deadshot's costume in the "Suicide Squad" movie is the cut-off mask. Because Will Smith is an international superstar, the movie producers would want fans to "recognize" Smith as much as possible.
In other Suicide Squad news, Viola Davis has been gearing up forher role as Amanda Waller in the movie. "Everything that I'm reading and studying about her: unapologetic, no humor, just brutal. That's me!" Davis told Comic Book Resources.
Viola Davis said her Waller will be packing a gun: "It's my fantasy. Now, I would never do that in life, but when I get a gun on a set, it does something to me."
"Suicide Squad" movie is set to be released to theaters on August 5, 2016
