Android 5.0 Lollipop Releases on Motorola G and X, HTC One M8, M7, LG G Series, Sony Xperia Z3, Z Tablets, Samsung Galaxy and More

Google has been updating Android phones with the 5.0 Lollipop update in a phased manner. Hence, the difference in arrival dates of the update to various phablet and tablet brand devices.

Here is the full list of brand devices that Google has already rolled out for the 5.0 Lollipop update.

For Google devices, the Android update is already availabe to Nexus 1-10. The update to Nexus 6 and 9 are out of the box.

For Motorola handsets, it is already rolled out for the Moto G and X 2014 models. The update will be available very soon to Moto G LTE Edition, Moto X, and Droid Turbo, as well as to Moto E and Moto G. Motorola created a web page dedicated to Android 5.0 Lollipop updates on this matter.

In HTC devices, the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is already available to HTC One M7, HTC One M8, HTC One GPE, HTC One M8 GPE. Devices that are promised to get the update soon include the HTC One mini and HTC One mini 2, and HTC One Max. These HTC devices will also be updated: Butterfly 2, Desire 816 and Desire 820, Desire Eye, and One (E8). Update for the Desire S is still uncertain.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update has also arrived to Asus devices, namely ZenFone4, ZenFone5, ZenFone6, ZenFone 5 LTE, PadfoneS, and the PadFone Infinity.

For Xperia handsets, it is currently available to the Xperia Z Ultra GPE, Xperia Z2, Z2 Tablet & Z3 Tablet Compact as well Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact. Other Xperia phones are yet to receive the update this month including Xperia Z1, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z3v. According to Sony blog, the updates will first arrive in the Baltics and Nortics.

In LG devices, the Android update has been rolled out for LG G Pad 8.3 GPE, LG G3. No information is available yet for LG devices like LG G3 Stylus, LG G2, LG G Pad 8.3, LG G2 Mini and LG G Flex. The LG G3 S and LG G3 Beatare also expected to get the Android update.

For Samsung devices, the Android update has been made available for Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4 GPE. Whereas update for devices like Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S5 Mini, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy TabPRO 8.4, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, Galaxy Tab 12.2 Pro, Galaxy Tab S 8.4, Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is yet to be confirmed.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop is the biggest update Google has released so far. it is slowly making its way to former generation handsets across the globe.
