Anti-FKA Twigs comments can't affect Robert Pattinson's girlfriend because she's stronger than what bashers and tabloid reporters think. In her Radio 1 interview, FKA Twigs explained her side when she faced cyberbullies on Twitter. The 27-year old 'Glass & Patron' singer said she just standing up for herself.
"I didn't want them to see me being bullied and not stand up for myself because ultimately I'm ten times stronger than somebody hiding behind a weird name on Twitter," FKA FKA Twigs said on BBC Radio 1."I wanted to show that I can stand up for myself so then hopefully another person will see that and want to stand up for themselves."
After Pattinson parted ways with his Twilight co-star partner and rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart in 2013, the 28-year-old Brit hunk was seen dating FKA Twigs in the latter part of 2014. Since she's not just the half-Jamaican, half-Spanish Tahliah Barnett, but the singer's RPatz romancing with.
"I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week," FKA Twigs tweeted about her online bashers.
The songstress-dancer, who also appeared in music videos of Jessie J and Ed Sheeran, admitted that there's a time that she's reading every single comments about her even it's already 3am.
"I just couldn't believe the world was like that. I guess I'm quite naive for someone who's come through the internet, I don't engage with it that much. I just couldn't believe people think like that or say things like that," FKA Twigs commented.
"It was morbidly fascinating." Meantime, it's not only the racist trolls she's dealing. FKA Twigs also mentioned tabloids that are fabricating stories about her.
"It doesn't affect me at all or what I create. Sometimes it's just frustrating because those sorts of tabloids are just looking for a headline," the Video Girl said. "That headline is often so far from the truth."
In other report, pro-FKA Twigs' music can expect to see her performance at Bestival, the four-day music event will be from September 10 to 13 Robin Hill Country Park.
"I picked up a white label record by an artist called twigs in 2012 and started playing it on my Radio 1 show, with no idea who or what was creating this fantastic sound... Three years on and it's exciting to see FKA Twigs breaking through, still forging such a leftfield sound and winning! Meanwhile, FKA Twigs' beau sealed a role in the Harmony Korine's film 'The Trap' which will also feature James Franco, Al Pacino, Benicio Del Toro, and Idris Elba.
