Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland are working on yet another musical collaboration. After Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle Williams, also a former Destiny's Child, performed during the February 2013 Super Bowl, many have been anticipating a follow-up. Additionally, fans have been wondering whether the divas would actually team up again for another Destiny's Child reunion album.
Kelly Rowland, 34, and Beyonce, 33, have been friends since their childhood years. Both rose to fame during the 90's, since becoming known as members of the Grammy award-winning all girls group, Destiny's Child.
For Kelly's fourth solo album, she had decided to give their loyal fans a treat. It can be remembered that Destiny's Child had disbanded in 2006, but their fan base remained supportive. A track off her album entitled "You Changed" was recorded by Rowland with her "sisters" Beyonce and Michelle.
Regarding this, the "Kisses Down Low" singer stated: so excited for people to hear the record." "I have actually collaborated with my sisters Beyonce and Michelle on the album and I'm so excited for people to hear the record." She also went on saying, "It's called 'You Changed' and it's basically about a relationship that's gone awry. It's just really not in the best place. The way the record is written is really genius."
The singer also addressed speculations pertaining to Destiny's Child recording a reunion album. Despite revealing that there was always a possibility of recording new music with her fellow former Destiny's Child band mates, Rowland had another response to the idea of them recording as a girl group. "It's a no," Rowland stated.
The women are all successful now with their own respective careers and were all reportedly "very happy doing solo projects."
Kelly shared, "We're celebrating the fact that we're different women now with different things happening and going on for ourselves, and Michelle's putting out a new album I'm so excited for her about. I'm putting out a new album June 4 and Beyoncé's about to go on tour and she's gonna kill it. So you know, we're there in spirit with each other or sometimes physically, but we're always together."
Kelly, Beyonce and Michelle released their single along with Rowland's fourth solo album "Talk a Good Game," on the 4th of June, 2013.
