The departure of some stars last year and the delay of the release of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" to 2016 may have affected faith in the title, but recent developments should give gamer's heart. According to sources, most of the group that worked on the remarkable multiplayer mode for "The Last of Us" is working on the multiplayer function of "Uncharted 4".

Robert Cogburn, Lead Multiplayer Designer of "Uncharted 4", tweeted and confirmed the news, with him also saying that fellow multiplayer designers Quentin Cobb and Robert Ryan were also part of the team. According to PlayStation Universe, Cogburn himself, a return designer from the "Uncharted 3" multiplayer team was only lately established as "Uncharted 4"'s multiplayer development lead. Before this, it was said that Erin Daly, Lead Multiplayer Designer on "The Last of Us" would be leading the team.

The statement came out after reports that SCEA Product Development Services Group Sound Designer, Robert Krekel was confirmed that he too would also be joining Naughty Dog for Senior Sound Designer. DualShockers reports that Krekel worked on titles such as "The Last of Us," "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception," "Starhawk," "Twisted Metal" and lots of other Sony titles.

In an interview with GamesRadar, "Uncharted 4" Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley talked about the conception of their previous title, "The Last of Us." Reflecting on the lessons gained as they went ahead with "Uncharted 4," Druckmann said that while people may consider "TLOU" a work of art, he hoped its success would motivate other developers to invest more time ensuring they make well-rounded characters.

Earlier this month, Druckmann and Straley said that "Uncharted 4" will be delayed to Spring 2016, for the team at Naughty Dog to have more time to perfect the game and make sure it meets the standards set by the studio. The two agreed that they had underestimated how long it would take to finish a game of the said proportion and scope presented by "A Thief's End." They also said that the project became far more ambitious than they had originally envisioned.
