Batman Arkham Knight Release Date: Postponed To June 23 Because Of 'M' Rating, Developers Need To Delete Violent Scenes?

Batman Arkham Knight's release date is pushed back to June 23 for Playstation 4, PC and Xbox One. The latest postponement is a short one because it was expected to launch on June 2.

Rocksteady released gameplay trailer for Arkham Knight in 2014. Everything the fans see in the extended video, called "Officer Down," was from on PS4. On display are some trademarks Arkham melee scenes, an impressive Batmobile driving around, and an examination scene that may clarify the game's well-publicized M rating.

The trailer also shows Breaking Bad actor, Jonathan Banks, or someone who sounds just like him, will play a part in the game. Microsoft announced the first release date of the Batman: Arkham Knight game in their online store. The first schedule is set on "2/24/2015." The Xbox One version will be available irst, while; there will be another release date for Playstation 4.

It has been reported that Batman: Arkham Knight is rated M, meaning Mature (UK18), because of the mild scenes and profanity found in the game as two of the many reasons cited by the board. Of course, Rocksteddy is not happy with the rating, because they would need to delete the said sequences of the game.

Last year, the release date was changed because the developers would like to ensure awesome gaming experience to Batman fans that is why the release date was delayed once again. This game will be the final and epic conclusion of the Arkham Knight trilogy. According to Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment "Batman: Arkham Knight" game can be played using Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC and Windows PC and will be released next year."
