'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is getting closer - and although it is still a year away, fans from all over the world cannot wait to get as much information as they can from the biggest superhero movie yet. Whether they be speculations, theories or confirmed spoilers, as long as they are about 'Batman v Superman,' fans will definitely take the time to scrape every bit of information that they can find.
Having said that, here are some of the most recent updates about next year's biggest superhero blockbuster.
The Senator whom DC Loves
According to a report made by Christianity Today, last week during an appearance at a U.S. Senate hearing on foreign aid and diplomacy in Eastern Congo, Ben Affleck (who portrays the iconic Bruce Wayne in BvS) acknowledged co-actor Senator Patrick Leahy in his opening statement. The senator is no stranger to the Batman films - he made appearances in in the franchise as early as 'Batman and Robin' in the 90's.
A Huge Tease
Henry Cavill, who plays the Man of Steel himself, was interviewed by ComicBook.com during an appearance he made at the 2015 Jameson Empire Awards, where he was one of the presenters. When asked about his role, Cavill stated that it was a long while since he wore the Superman costume and that he doesn't know when he could be wearing it again. He also teased an important part in the film by saying, "...There is a firm handshake at some stage..." Could this be a confirmation that the two superhero giants would eventually become allies at some point in the film?
That Long Awaited Teaser
Ever since Warner Brothers announced that 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' had finished filming and was in post-production, numerous speculations regarding when the movie's trailer would drop emerged. Recent rumors according to an article posted by Kpop Starz indicate that fans may get to see the long-awaited trailer for 'Batman v Superman' this April. The teaser trailer, according to the report, might be attached to 'Mad Max: Fury Road' or shown independently at the upcoming WonderCon.
