With the impending release of "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens", a lot of speculations about the movie plot are emerging in the internet.

"Star Wars: Episode 7" director J.J. Abrams confirmed that many spoiler rumors about the movie that is circulating the internet are true. Abrams also wished that when the "The Force Awakens" will be shown, these "rumors" will not dampen the suspense or spoil the movie for fans who are eagerly waiting for it.

Abrams told News.com.au through Den of Geek "My dream is that, despite so many rumors -- many of which are true, many of which are untrue -- when people see the movie, they see something that hasn't been completely ruined for them by having read spoilers they might not have wanted to read."

However, the 48 year old director did not identify which of the plot rumors are correct.

Several "Star Wars: Episode VII" movie plot spoilers claimed that there are villains who are developing weapons on an ice planet to destroy the solar system. Other movie spoiler rumors said that a major character will die in the movie which can be likened to Obi-Wan's death in Star Wars. That being said, J.J. Abrams has declined to identify which rumors are accurate.

Abrams was interviewed while promoting the film Infinitely Polar Bear, which stars Zoe Saldana and Mark Ruffalo. Ruffalo plays a bi-polar father in the movie, which is written and directed by Maya Forbes. J.J. Abrams also revealed that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is now deep into post-production. Abrams said that "we're still cutting it, but I could not be more excited."

Meanwhile, a lot of speculations are also Domnhall Gleeson's character. There were previous reports that Gleeson is the son of Luke Skywalker. However, according to Moviepilot, Gleeson is also a rogue agent who has infiltrated Imperial forces to accomplish the plans of Luke Skywalker to take out the remaining pieces of the Empire after the events of Return of the Jedi.

Another movie plot speculation is that he is a defector of the Empire after learning that the Republic forces and Princess Leia are assembling weapons of mass destruction to destroy the solar system.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on December 18, 2015.
