"General Hospital" will be celebrating its 52nd anniversary since its first episode in 1963. The show is bound to reveal Luke's secret on the April 1 episode of GH. This article contains spoilers for "General Hospital." Read on for more details.

"General Hospital" fans will finally discover the truth about Luke and the reason behind the development of his multiple personalities. The episode will flash back to 1963 and will have answers to unresolved mysteries as the show went on.

According to ABC, the much-awaited truth about Luke will be finally revealed on the show's 52nd Anniversary, which airs on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. The network cited that the mystery will be revealed with the help of Luke's family along with his sister Patricia, which will be portrayed by Dee Wallace.

Some fans began to speculate after watching the ending of its latest episode that the episode will show more of Luke, Patricia, and Bobbie's childhood.

As seen on the last episode, Luke took Patricia as hostage and Bobbie and Tracy arrive only to see their sister tied and gagged in bed.

Bobbie asked Luke to revisit their past, but Luke shuts them off and tells them that it's the kind of memory not worth revisiting. Fans took this as a hint that Patricia and Bobbie had something to do with Luke's mental break.

Spoilers from Christian Post also tease fans that after Luke went berserk and aimed his gun at everyone in the room, his family will begin to make a hard decision. Will they finally decide to take Luke to a mental health professional and give him the intervention that he needed for so long?

The 52nd Anniversary of "General Hospital" will also feature former characters such as Dr. Steve Hardy (Jason Thompson), Jesse Brewer (Rebecca Herbst) and Dr. Phil Brewer (Ryan Carnes).

"General Hospital" airs weekdays on ABC.
