'The Witcher 3' to have 200+ hours of gameplay? Connected game storylines could span from start to finish

By

Players looking for a game to obsess and sink themselves into for the second half of the year will be glad to know "The Witcher 3" plans on providing over 200 hours of gameplay. The information regarding the possibly lengthy commitment of gameplay hours was shared by the game's senior designer Damien Monnier.

Monnier said the game will be progressing through acts, but added that players would be unaware of what act they were already playing in, according to Gamereactor. Monnier also said there would be quest lines in the game which would begin right from the start of the game and move throughout all the acts.

Even though the act-spanning quest lines are already expected to take up a lot of the players' time, the game still doesn't hold back when it comes to bonus content. In terms of enemies, the game provides a varied collection of monsters and villains populating the world of "The Witcher" to keep players interested and engaged all throughout.

According to CD Projekt Red Senior Art Producer Michal Krzeminski, some of the monsters in the game may react differently based on what point you may encounter them in the game. The monsters are also best described as being part of the entire world they are in, according to Playstation Lifestyle.

The game also boasts its aquatic content, with monsters appearing from beneath the waters to threaten the lives of players passing through. Environmental hazards such as thunderstorms and rocks along the water are also going to be obstacles the players need to deal with.

When it comes to the character itself, improvements can be made through armor upgrades, and they come in tiers, according to Express UK. Three of the better armors in the game are said to have five tiers each.

"The Witcher 3" will be released on the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One on May 19.
