Fallout 4 coming out on consoles soon is very much possible and reports of its E3 2015 appearance has been confirmed according to a report. Meanwhile, race selection is expected to be the newest gameplay feature.
Voice actor for Three Dog in Fallout 3 Erik Todd Dellums has tweeted last March 22 hinting that Fallout 4 might indeed be coming out soon. His full tweet reads: "Just did something that will hopefully make all #ThreeDog fans smile! #ShareLove."
Back in January 2013, the famed voice behind Three Dog also went to Twitter to tease the game's upcoming release. His tweet reads: "To all my #Fallout3 and #ThreeDog fans: There may be more of the Dog coming! Fingers crossed!" A follow-up tweet reads: "How was that for a tease! I was given permission to release that tease, so fingers crossed."
According to Bethesda's official blog, a report tells fans to "save the date," referring to June 14, 2015 for a press conference in Hollywood. The developer is also reported brewing Elder Scrolls 6 for the E3 2015 event come June.
Meanwhile, a race selection feature is also reported to be added to Fallout 4's gameplay. This kind of feature was last highlighted in 2001 for Fallout: Tactics. Bethesda enabled players to choose among the six available races with respective backstories and abilities: Humans, Humanoid Robots, Ghouls, Dogs, Super Mutants and Deathclaws. Fallout 3 was released in 2008 and is deemed one of the best games of all time. However, Bethesda has neither confirmed the races nor the comeback of the feature itself.
While many are convinced of Fallout 4's 2015 release, the upcoming title has been plagued with delay issues. Accordingly, storyline has contributed hugely to the deferment of the game's release, adding that the developer also is still fixing some other issues.
Fallout 4 is expected to hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC by the end of 2015 or in the first quarter of 2016.
