Even Selena Gomez has not escaped James Franco's weird pranks. Franco's latest post in his Instagram about Selena Gomez is a bit playful and weird.
The "True Story" star shared a photo of Selena Gomez cradling and lovingly gazing down a tiny baby swaddled in blankets. In the photo, Gomez was dressed in period costume and awaiting Franco' instruction ahead of a rural scene on the forthcoming movie "In Dubious Battle."
Franco took the cute photo of his "Springbreakers" co-star on the set of "In Dubious Battle" in Atlanta, Georgia. Franco captioned the photo, "Selene and I had a baby. It was born during Sprang Break."
Franco is directing Gomez in "In Dubious Battle" which is based on John Steinbeck's realist novel of the same name. The movie is about an activist who got caught up in the labor movement for farm workers in California during the 1930s. The cast also includes Vincent D'Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston and Danny McBride.
Selena Gomez was not unfamiliar with Franco's "weirdness". During their promotional for "Spring Breakers", the 22-year old actress admitted, "He stayed in character the whole time and luckily for me, my character was creeped out by him, because I genuinely was at first."
"We shot the movie for four weeks, he came in and walked on set as his character and freaked me out," Gomez added. "That's who I know, until we started doing press and I realized he's one of the most intelligent people I've ever met...He's really nice, I promise. He's great."
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez has just finished filming "The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving" in Atlanta, Georgia with actor Paul Rudd.
In addition to her forthcoming dramatic films, the star is also anticipating the September 25 release of the animated sequel "Hotel Transylvania 2" in which she reprises her voiceover role of Mavis.
