The world of Shear received some exciting new additions through the latest downloadable content pack with four new hunters and the monster Behemoth being introduced into the mix.

Behemoth is an offensive juggernaut with the ability to potentially change the game. This massive creature can also transform itself into a rolling boulder to help players get around without leaving any tracks. The Behemoth is not suited for stealth however, as its lava may also burn any plants nearby, according to Shack News.

The Behemoth also has unique abilities known as the tongue grab and rock wall. Both abilities can help the Behemoth when it comes to finding food while the rock wall can also aid in attempts to escape from hordes of hunters. Players should also know that the Behemoth is perhaps the slowest of all the game's monsters, but it makes up for it with its heavy armor.

The game also introduces four new Tier 4 Hunters into the game. The downloadable content pack features Crow in the role of a trapper, Slim in the role of a medic, Sunny as the engineer, and Torvald as the one specializing in assault.

Players familiar with the different hunter roles of the new additions can expect much of the same abilities from them with some new extra features designed to distinguish them from the rest of the pack. Also included in the downloadable content pack is the new Observer Mode, which enables a sixth player to effectively view the game from different players' perspectives.

Several bugs related to the game's functionality are also being addressed by this latest patch, according Playstation Lifestyle. Notably, the bug fixes are specific to the console where "Evolve" is played on. "Evolve" owner who pre-ordered the game will receive Behemoth for free. The monster can also be purchased for $14.99.

The new hunters are a part of the Hunting Season Pass for $24.99. They can also be had as a separate purchase, according to Tech Times. The new downloadable content package is already out for the Playstation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
