The Walt Disney Co. on Thursday reported arrangements to make a sequel of the animated and blockbuster hit currently titled, Frozen 2. Bob Iger, Walt Disney Co. CEO, and John Lasseter, head of Walt Disney Animation Studios, joined in authoritatively declaring the much awaited sequel at the company's yearly shareholders assembly in San Francisco.
The original and primary film's directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are building up the project with producer Peter Del Vecho for Walt Disney Animation Studios, which took home the Oscar for animated feature for the movie. The release date and information for the production are yet to be declared.
The chief creative officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, John Lasseter, made the declaration with Disney boss Bob Iger, and Josh Gad, who voices the role of Olaf in Frozen.
The sequel doesn't come as quite a bit of amazement, considering how the original movie keeps on being a significant profitable power for Disney's divisions since its showing last Nov. 22, 2013 and helped strengthen Walt Disney Animation Studios.
