Fans patiently waiting for the PC version of "Grand Theft Auto V" got a little reminder of why they have been waiting for so long with the announcement of a 60 fps trailer set for release showcasing the game's stunning visuals.
The trailer was originally scheduled to be released on March 30, but Rockstar Games has since pushed the date back to April 2. The company said fans can expect the trailer to go online some time around 10am EDT, according to Gameranx.
The game's developers told fans that the best way to view the trailer would be to use the most recently released high-end devices they can get their hands on. Doing so would presumably provide them with the "best viewing experience" they could have ever hoped for, according to VG247.
Apart from the announcement of the trailer's release date, Rockstar Games also released a still which presumably is from the short video itself.
In the image, people can see a vehicle on fire in the background with bullet casings seemingly flying from a gun in the foreground, according to Gamespot.
In related news, the special pre-order promotional deal for the PC version of "Grand Theft Auto V" ended on March 31. The deal provides players with a $300,000 bundle of in-game cash they can use however they wish to for the game's online mode.
Fans looking to snag a deal can still get one by pre-ordering the game even after March 31.
From April 1 up until the game's release date, fans who pre-order the game will receive $1.2 million worth of in-game cash divvied up between the game story and online mode. The division would work out to $700,000 of cash on hand for the story mode and $500,000 of it usable for online mode, according to Gamespot.
"Grand Theft Auto V" for the PC will be released on April 14.
