The highly acclaimed sandbox game became famous for its extremely expansive world and its almost unending lists of side quests. Though the main story is not that profound, the environment surrounding the main storyline gives the game that interesting spice.

However, what made Skyrim impressive is its long list of fan-made mods generated throughout the years. Interesting mods, tweaks and conversions totally juiced out Skyrim's full potential. It is through modders like SureAI that continually extends the life of this sandbox game way over its projected shelf life.

Enderal: Shards of Order

SureAI is again working on a total Skyrim conversion with Enderal Shards of Order. The conversion will totally change the game as it brings its own storyline, characters, weapons and a new world to explore. It is slowly being considered an ambitious project and when released, one of the biggest mods for Skyrim to date boasting 150+ hours of gameplay.

SureAI is a group of programmers based in Munich that have created a long list of mods for Bethesda games since 2003. The team of brilliant experts are currently working on the Enderal conversion that promises to add a new dimension to Skyrim.

Enderal is a sequel to SureAI's Nehrim: At Fate's Edge, which gained popularity after its release almost five years ago. The upcoming mod takes place two and a half years after Nehrim and continues a plot that is laid out in the last title. The game revolves around a protagonist plagued by prophetic dreams set in a world plunged in civil war. Enderal Shards of Order expands the Nehrim lore and adds more depth, twisting plots and a highly interactive game environment.

The Skyrim mod is still under development but according to pcgamer, it is 'the makings of the biggest skyrim mod ever.'
