Being Apple's flagship carrier this year, the iPhone 6S is expected to sustain or even surpass the sales record of its predecessor. There are also Canadian carriers who are increasing iPhone prices. Further, the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, and the rumored 6C are expected for a September release this year and that two of these devices will have big screens.
It was first assumed that Apple is going to release the iPhone 7 around the same time that the company released the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. But, there are rumors saying that the iPhone 7 release won't be happening this year. Instead, Apple could possibly release the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
The Fuse Joplin cited Apple insiders that reportedly said that Apple is planning on rolling out the Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus around September this year and that both will come out with lots of improvements. Since this is the word that's coming, it is assumed that Apple has no enough time to release the iPhone 7 this year.
What buyers can expect about the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus when the two devices come out is that both will not only have big screens but also a pre-installed universal SIM called "Apple SIM".
In addition to this, there are also rumors that iPhone 6C would also be released together with iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. This was because of the reportedly leaked images that went viral online. The images seemed to show the back shell of the assumed iPhone 6C. But some said that it looked very similar to iPhone 5C while others concluded that it resembles the iPhone 5S, after looking at the images closely. Hopefully, this is not one of those April Fools' Day pranks.
Now about the latest specifications of the iPhone 7, there have not been any latest updates of it yet. What has been circulating around is that the device will come out with at least 2 GB RAM, an A9 chip from Apple, and a crystal glass or a liquid metal casing.
Meanwhile, mobile carriers in Canada are increasing the 2-year contract pricing of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, reports by MobileSyrup.com. International Business Times AU cited analysts who are reportedly expecting the iPhone 6S to sustain or even exceed the record sales of its previous version. Apple's sales projection is $227.1 billion and the iPhone 6S, being the flagship phone of this year, is being considered to be a big contribution to it.
