Last night's world premiere of the Fast and Furious 7 was a pleasant yet heartbreaking experience, especially for the fans of Paul Walker. Cast members Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese and the rest were very excited for the fans to watch the latest installment of the movie franchise.
Although Paul Walker could not be physically there on the red carpet, his dedication and love is felt by his friends and fans when they entered the Los Angeles premiere of Fast and Furious 7. The star Vin Diesel and producer Neal Mortiz were both emotional last night.
"This movie is more than a movie," said Diesel. "There's something emotional that happens to you where you walk out of this movie, and you appreciate everyone you love because you just never know when the last day is that you'll see them."
Diesel also said to a source, "If I'm seeming excited and if I'm seeming amped, it took a lot of work to get there so that I could bury all of my emotions for one night, suppress my emotions for one moment as I introduce this movie to the world, because if I got lost in my emotions, there'd be tears rolling down my cheeks and I just would've stayed in the car and would've gone back home."
Another statement coming from one of the cast members, "We all know that we struggled to get through this one and Paul is with us. Paul is here," Tyrese tells source. "He's at this premiere and the fans are going to love it. And that's what it's all about and nothing else."
The passing of Paul Walker at the age of 40 from a single fatal car crash in November 2013 together with his friend was the reason why the management pushed back the release of the Universal film, Fast and Furious 7. The studio and filmmakers took time to mourn the death of the star, and rethink the ending of the film to give Walker's character's storyline a proper ending.
