Katy Perry Accidentally Uploads A Video Displaying Her Phone Number on April Fools' Day

By

The "Wide Awake" singer Katy Perry accidentally broadcasted her phone number to her over 67 million Twitter and over 16 million Instagram followers when she uploaded a video on Wednesday, April 1.

Katy Perry nonchalantly posted a video of her pet dog Butters to social media without realizing that Butters' dog tag clearly showed-off her phone number. The video was captioned "BITCH BETTER HAVE MY MONEY IF BITCH WANTS SAUSAGES!" as a reference to Rihanna's new song "Bitch Better Have My Money." There was no shortage of concern from the majority of her fans, however, as they tried to inform the singer about the mishap in the video.

Katy received numerous funny and concerned tweets from her fans regarding her publicized phone number. Soon afterwards, Katy quickly deleted the video and deactivated the number, perhaps after receiving thousands of anonymous calls and texts. Looks like Katy's going to have to change her phone number, not to mention Butters' dog tag.

It was nearly a year ago when Katy Perry welcomed the brown-haired puppy she then named Butters to join her feline friend, Kitty Purry. It's no secret that Butters is receiving all the love and affection he needs from Katy. Although the upload fail may have caused a nuisance to the singer, surely, the teddy bear-like pup won't receive any of the blame. After all, it was Katy who hit the post button.

Katy Perry also surprised her fans earlier that day when she posted a photo of herself on Instagram rocking a 'Kris Jenner' inspired pixie cut. The photo was captioned: "I asked for the Kris Jenner." However, People reported that the new look could be no more than an April Fools' prank.

Either way, the photo received numerous support from fans and even from Kris Jenner herself who reposted Katy Perry's photo with the caption: "LOL I love you! You look gorgeous beautiful girl!!! #stunning #sexy #eyesareamazing #Repost"
