Slated for September release, NHL 16 recently had its newcomer to the roster for the upcoming game. According to recent news, they have a name of the athlete to feature in the game cover.
Lately, though there haven't been much available latest news about the said game, one interesting update popped out online this week, however. Based from these sources, there was a voting made for the next athlete to feature in the upcoming game cover.
A name of Patrice Bergeron was the listed athlete who outstood the rest of the athletes for the next game instalment of the NHL franchise as revealed by the game developer through their official Twitter account.
EA Sports NHL tweeted, "Proud to announce Daniel Paille of the @NHLBruins as our next #EASportsNHL Cover Athlete! Get your copy of #NHL16 this September."
They didn't merely announce the next athlete for the cover, but also the release date wherein the fans immediately hyped up after the tweet was posted.
Aside from the expected schedule for its release date, EA also revealed that the game will also have its new additional feature which is labelled as, "Be a Pro" mode - first-person focused gameplay. With this particular mode, players will have the chance to take advantage to its options available wherein they could get more points in different ways and at the same time, they could also watch their fellow teammates while skating on ice.
Linked to the previous, they could also take selfies with members of media named Joe Haggerty.
Next to "Be a Pro" mode, the game developer also introduced new open net challenge where receiving passes from the athlete [featured in game cover] and Brad Marchand is possible while shooting the puck as high as they could over the crossbar.
If players can make it, they can defeat Brett Connolly and Reilly Smith unnoticed while securing chance to be in the team [roster spot].
Part of this challenge is the chance to talk with the coach and the team president regarding the players' status, game, units to skate, and tips to improve gameplay.

Beyond the enlisted players possibly be included in the upcoming NHL16, EA also had their survey lists of modes that were featured in NHL15 that could possibly be included for the next game, namely: Couch Mode, Play a Friend (HUT), Zamboni Racing, Manager tasks, Team Creator, EA SPORTS Hockey League, 3 on 3 Big Head Hockey, Online Tournaments, The World of Cup of Hockey, Owner Mode, and HUT Web App.
Thus, fans should keep their selves updated for further announcements that EA Sports will make soon. While being scheduled to hit screens in PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms, NHL16 arrives in September 2015.
