Blade Runner 2 Release Date, Spoilers: Harrison Ford says script is best; Prometheus 2 filmmaker Ridley Scott not directing?

Harrison Ford will be reprising his role as Rick Deckard after more than a decade in the film Blade Runner 2 from the critically acclaimed Prometheus 2 director Ridley Scott slated to start filming summer 2016 produced by Alcon Entertainment.

Latest updates reveal that Harrison is pretty much excited about the release of Blade Runner 2 which will still featured him as lead. There wasn't much clutter of decision for the People's Choice Award Favorite Movie Star of 1999 after having been offered the job to do Rick Deckard's role.

According to Ford, the script that has been sent to him by the film's screen writer Dennis Villeneuve is the best thing he has read ever. He gladly accepted the work and was more than glad to do it.

Ford also starred as Han Solo for Star Wars where he has been so popular. However, with this upcoming film, Harrison is never desiring the limelight to be fixed upon him. He rather wants to show to younger generation that there is a film named Blade runner that has long been existing. A film so much alike with the films packed with fight scenes and cool adventures the kids nowadays watch. He assures the public that this is equally exciting as other action-themed movies out there.

Pundits still criticize Harrison's age can do an action-jammed film release like Blade Runner 2. Ford defended that this is not a question of age but of ability and he thinks he is still able. Besides, what's the use of extras and other film cinematic paraphernalia. The producer and the director even unanimously agrees that Harrison is the best man for this role as he has been seen fit from the first Instalment of the movie back year 1982.

The production for Blade Runner 2 release starts summer 2016 now that the script is complete.
