'God of War III' Remastered PS4 Exclusive Release Update: ESRB writes latest synopsis for game's M-rating

ESRB wrote an extensive description for the "God of War III" Remastered edition that would be launch soon by Sony Computer Entertainment. The latest review further stressed out why the evaluating body had to give the video game an M-rating in the first place.

In the latest description written by ESRB for the re-launch of "God of War III" Remastered, the evaluating body included that gruesome graphic details in Kratos' battle against the Olympians and the Titans. ESRB said that "combat is bloody, with large sprays occurring when enemies are struck; blood often stains the ground, surrounding walls, and Kratos' body." They added that the boss fights were the bloodiest fight scenes in the game as they enumerated that manner of death of the Olympians.

They said that: "The most intense depictions of violence occur during boss battles with the gods. Players engage in close-up and extended battles that are completed by timed button presses according to on-screen prompts."

"One god is repeatedly thrown into rocks and walls; another's eyes are gouged out by thumbs; another god's head is smashed repeatedly into the ground. One boss has his legs sliced off while another has his head torn off. In some sequences, blood stains the screen after each of Kratos' blows."

The ESRB even noted the "sex" mini game in the "God of War III" Remastered, which would also pass for an M-rating. In their synopses they added that "One sequence contains a sex mini-game: players encounter a goddess and two of her handmaidens, all with bare breasts, holding and caressing each other. If players choose to do so, they may join the goddess in bed; the camera then focuses on the two handmaidens who watch from a distance. As players respond to on-screen prompts, the maidens sometimes caress each other as they continue to watch Kratos and the goddess off-camera. Moaning sounds can be heard throughout the sequence."

ESRB's M-rating meant that the game should only be played by video gamers 18 years-old and above; younger players should be supervised as they play the game. The "God of War" Remastered would be released by July; hopefully, ESRB's latest synopsis would be a fair warning to those who wanted to try out the game for the first time.

Then again, hardcore fans would already know the consequences of letting Kratos back in to their lives, this time in their next generation consoles. He is in fact a very brutal and vengeful "God of War."
