By

After the official confirmation of a Titanfall sequel, Respawn Entertainment revealed that the next title with have 'lots of stuff' in store for fans. Abbie Heppe, Studio community manager said in an EXL podcast reported by Gamespot: "So, I think there's going to be a lot of stuff that people are going to be excited about." Though substantial details of the game are still under wraps, a number of reveals have indicated a list of features Titanfall 2 will deliver.

Extended Single player campaign

Though multiplayer features is one of the most crucial part of any game released today, the single player campaign is equally essential. The single player campaign gives depth and establishes a foundation for gamers to fully be aware of the game's environment, storyline and its characters. The current Titanfall game focused more on the multiplayer aspect and trimmed down single player content. However, due to feedbacks coming from multiple sources, Respawn will revamp their priorities and add an extensive single player campaign on Titanfall 2.

Additional weapons and more

Aside from an extended SP campaign, news is that the new sequel will feature more weapons to choose from. Though no specific announcement have been made as to the level of increase in the game's arsenal, it is logical that additions will be included to make the game even bigger.

Though Heppe was firm on not commenting more about the next game, she assured that they have the tools needed to make a brand new Titanfall sequel possible.

"... We have assets, we have an engine, we have all of these things that we laid the foundation for in the first game that now we can really build off of in the second."

The game would not be an Xbox exclusive

Drifting apart from the first Title, Titanfall 2 will not be an Xbox exclusive but will have a multiplatform release as reported by the online game critic IGN. In an interview with IGN, Vince Zampella, Respawn Entertainment CEO admitted his knowledge about a Titanfall sequel before EA's announcement:

"I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don't know anything about it, or... yeah. So we're working on a sequel."

Zampella further said as reported by IGN that, "The opportunity to be multiplatform could have made it even more significant for us." Hinting the preference for the game to have a multiplatform release.

IGN further piled up the evidence for a multiplatform game with a report commenting on Blake Jorgensen's comment on the Technology, internet & media conference that Titanfall "would probably happen..." and that owners of other platform will have the chance to see it.

Zampella's statement came after EA's official announcement that a Titanfall sequel is in the making, though the official title is still among those 'stuff' that are still under development.
