Thinks before posting or was it make-up mistake for Kylie Jenner? The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star dealt with a great amount backlash on weekend with just sharing a photo. The young celebrity's picture showed dark metallic make-up, fuchsia hairdo, and blue contacts, which brought her blackface accusations. According to a celebrity website this controversial Instagram post ruined her Easter weekend.
The 17-year-old brunette seemed enthusiastic about her photo shoot as she immediately shared few of her beautiful shots. However, her legion of followers expressed had mixed reactions about her make-up.
"What I wish I looked like all the time," Jenner's original caption for her photo.
After a while, Kim Kardashian's youngest sister put it down, but immediately uploaded different angle of her shot and caption.
"This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down @marcelocantuphoto @joycebonelli @chrisdylanhair @hubblestudio," Kylie's message on her follow-up post.
Not only clarifying the issue on Instagram, the teen TV reality star also took to Twitter her explanation about her dream and photo.
"So just got the time to head on social media lol.. The photographer used a black light & neon lights for those photos," Kylie's Twitter note. "Yes, in another world I wish I could have pink hair & blue eyes & covered in sparkles. But in this world I'm happy w the way God created me. Happy Easter everybody."
According to Hollywood Life, the blackface accusations upset Bruce Jenner's little daughter as she looked like racist.
"Kylie's Easter has been ruined," HollywoodLife.com's source shared. "She's crying and really upset that people think she was being racist. Khloe has been really supportive, but Kim not so much."
Even celebrities model Karrueche Tran and singer-actress Zendaya commented on Kylie's photo
"The point is.. Nobody needs to wish they look like anything.. We are all individually beautiful in our own way. Keep that sh-t positive," Chris Brown's ex girlfriend Karrueche.
"At first, I saw more of an avatar look but thank y'all for keepin me on point....we all gotta stay aware of what image we project #lessons," Disney star Zendaya tweeted.
Meantime, Kylie was spotted together with her rumored boyfriend Tyga going to Los Angeles church on Sunday. The duo wasn't alone though as almost the entire Kardashians-Jenners clan was there too. E! Online reported that Khloe, Kendall, Kim with husband Kanye West and daughter North West, Kourtney with her kids Mason and Penelope, and Kris with her boyfriend Corey Gamble were also there.
Apart from being with Kylie or Kardashians, Tyga also brought her two-year-old kid with Blac Chyna to church that day.
