A severe case of Lyme Disease has greatly affected the career of the famous pop singer, Avril Lavigne. While on tour, she suddenly disappeared and secluded herself in an Ontario refuge to recover from a bad health condition. Recently, she announced to People that after several months of bedridden instances, she is taking time off from work and is focusing on recovering from her health condition. Will the pop star be able to continue her career after getting the disease?
Avril Lavigne, a famous 30 year old pop star, has been suffering from physical conditions that disabled her from performing while she was on tour last April of 2014. During such time, she depicted that she suddenly felt feverish and presumed that her bad health was just a case of bad flu. However, when she medicated herself with cold medicine, her condition got worse. Uncertain of what wass actually wrong with her body, Lavigne sought medical assistance at emergency rooms for several occations and inquired for medical expert findings to give her answers. Eventually, a Lyme specialist finally diagnosed her and claimed that she was actually suffering from a severe case of Lyme Disease. Such bacterial disease is stimulated by getting bitten by a tick.
Avril states that: "I had complete weakness and fatigue... I was bedridden for five whole months...". She adds that she felt that she couldn't breathe, she was unable to move or simply talk at all. She even admits that she felt she was nearing her death.
Eventually, after finding out what's wrong with her, Lavigne is currently doing the best that she can to recover from the Lyme Disease. She reveals that she has been eating right by consuming only organic food and doing some exercise like running and walking. However, despite her efforts, the pop star adds that she still felt the effects of the disease when sometimes, she still feels restless.
Despite her uneventful fate, Lavigne indicates that she sees the disease as a blessing unto her life. Having been working non-stop for 13 years, she felt that this disease brought light unto her life and totally changed her perspectives and priorities. She adds that she might be missing performances and will be putting her career on hold as she tries to recover from her health condition.
Currently, she is staying at a secluded Ontario refuge with her mother and husband Chad Kroeger of Nickelback as she gets herself back on track. She likewise adds that she is determined to get better due to the enormous support that her fans have been showing her through social media and would be excited to perform for them once again.
The Lyme Disease has compelled Avril Lavigne to put her career on hold. However, with the pop star's doubled efforts at recovering from the said disease with husband Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, she confirms that she will continue performing for her fans from the moment sheis healed from the severe health condition.
