A YouTube video from EverythingApplePro showed a drop test between the iPhone 6S and Galaxy S6 Edge. The test revealed the Galaxy S6 as more durable than the iPhone 6S. Further, a Chineses manufacturer has released its flagship phone, the ELIFE S7. The company claims that the phone will not "bend like iPhone."
The video shows three tests. The first test is a drop test from waist height. This is to mimic a phone dropping out of an owner's pocket. The second was done from head height, and the last was a 10-foot drop. Further, it has three drop test categories. The first is a normal drop, the second is a face-down drop test, and the third is the car carnage test.
In the first normal drop (waist, head, and 10-foot), both smartphones survive, with some scratches. However, when the face-down drop test was done (waist, head, and 10-foot), the iPhone 6S was heavily damaged, and its camera seems to give up. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 Edge showed to be more durable than the iPhone 6S.
In the last part of the video, both smartphones were tested by having run over by a car. It resulted to a bent iPhone 6S, while the Galaxy S6 Edge's frame was shown to be sturdier than the iPhone.
As this test reveals which smartphone is durable, Chinese giant Gionee has recently released its best smartphone, the ELIFE S7.
The smartphone is priced at Rs. 24,999. Its U-shape design was reportedly inspired from railway tracks. ELIFE S7 was built with an aviation -level, magnesium alloy, which makes the skeleton solid and durable. The company claims that their smartphone will not "bend like iPhone."
