- After two years in the making, the Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F or Fukkatsu no F, is nearing its release date this April 11 in US where the movie boasts the return of an old nemesis and brand new power-ups for the protagonists.
Briefly, the plot of the movie revolves around the return of San Goku's long-time rival from the dead after Tagoma and Sorbet wishing for their master alive once they had gathered the Dragon Balls. On top of Frieza returning, he also gets a new purple and gold form and he also has a stronger need for vengeance.
Although Goku has become stronger than Majin Buu while Frieza was dead, with his new form, Frieza could still be a worthy opponent who would not go down easily.
There have been rumors that Frieza is not the only one with a new form. Goku and Vegeta were said to have a new Super Saiyan form with blue hair but this might not be the case. In a forum thread on GameFAQ, a forum member addressed this supposed new form and apparently the blue hair is merely an effect of having taken in Super Saiyan God Powers. Another member stated that the form with the blue hair is just a "power-up" and there is nothing behind it.
Fans from all over have been waiting for this movie for a while now and the wait will be slightly longer for those in Japan. The film will be released on April11 complete with subtitles, at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles. This was all made a reality by 20th Century Fox and Toei Animation collaborating with one another.
Anime fans are a few days sleep away to the release of Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F in US and in Japan this week, a much awaited film not soon to forget.
