The success behind Captain America's Vibranium shield has come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to make his own tent pole Film entitled after him-Black Panther. The Wakandan (an imaginary isolationist tribe of advanced technology and massive wealth) king has pulled up black Vibranium tight suit to invade the outer earth.
Seems to it, Marvel Cinematic Universe is now on its wheel to showcase another norm-breaking hero. Black Panther would be the first Black superhero to date. Created by Stan Lee in late 60's, Black Panther has made waves in its comic counterpart.
This would be legit film is confirmed by Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige. According to Feige, In terms of Black Panther, it's absolutely in development, and when you have something as rich as Wakanda and [Black Panther's] backstory - and clearly, Vibranium's been introduced in the universe already - I don't know when it will be exactly but certainly we have plans to bring him to life someday'.
Black Panther has made appearances already in some Marvel Studios Films. He has been seen on Captain America and Avengers. It's expected that it would be a big hit for fans who wanted to see a superhero made out of greatness, though an underdog-to-superhero story seems popular.
It has been an overrated debate also on who's going to be playing Black Panther movie. Many have been crazy about this. It went from getting Jordan though he doesn't quite look like an African to changing the African character to a Latino one. In the end, it has been announced that Chadwick Boseman will be playing Black Panther. The '42' actor loved it. He said that he is pretty excited in filming Black Panther.
Halle Berry who plays Storm in X-Men series is also rumoured to play Storm which plays the Black Panther's lady love. The x-men front woman has history background from Wakanda as one of beautiful Lady Guards of the Wakandan kings.
Black Panther movie is set to be released by 2017.
