Spectre movie update: Daniel Craig undergoes knee surgery after being injured on the set; filming not affected

By

The latest "James Bond: Spectre" movie is set to premiere on November 6. Even though Daniel Craig has just been recently injured and had a knee surgery, the film production will still be on schedule.

NOT A HINDRANCE

Daniel Craig, who plays his 4th James Bond in the Eon production film, has just undergone arthroscopic surgery in New York during the Easter weekend while on a break from filming. According to a report, the actor sprained his knee during a fighting scene while on the set of the said movie last February at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire U.K.

Fans do not need to worry about any delays or changes in the storyline as Daniel Craig will be able to start shooting "James Bond: Spectre" again on April 22 on the same location. It also said that the knee surgery was just a minor one and the 007 actor will be back in shape in no time. According to the report, Daniel Craig took the opportunity to undergo his knee surgery when the production is filming scenes where he is not needed.

BOLD AND DARING

Fearless stunts and scenes are expected in the spectacular Spectre movie directed by Skyfall's Sam Mendes. A report cited a source that Craig gives his all when shooting his scenes which explains the injury. In fact, the knee sprain was only secondary to an injury he experienced while shooting some action scenes at the Austrian alps with the newest bond girl French actress Lea Seydoux. He was on a location shoot in Mexico when he decided to have the operation that he had to be flown all the way to New York.

This is not the first time the actor has figured in a minor accident while shooting James Bond movies and apparently, all of these films have turned out to be successful.

"James: Bond Spectre" is still in full production even though Daniel Craig has just had his knee surgery. Fans can still expect the film to hit the silver screen on November this year.
