Call Of Duty 2015: Marketing Campaign Begins With Black Ops 2 Goes Viral, Snapchat Code Released! [VIDEO]

The snapchat of the Call of Duty has updated their page with a new trailer. The video teases fans with a mysterious voice saying, "Listen only to the sound of my voice." Viewers can watch it via the video below. As some fans have been looking at the light shining through the trees makes three notable white lines, maybe implying the Black Ops III is what is being hinted here.

A possible viral ad campaign for Treyarch's forthcoming Call of Duty 2015 label has supposedly been uncovered in a recently updated Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Call of Duty YouTube character Drift0r hints in the uploaded video and on a chosen number of in-game billboards installed on different multiplayer maps, gamers will see a Snapchat code leading them to the message, "call ofduty is already your friend!"

There is also some confirmation that the QR code is real on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 of Xbox 360. Gamers have different opinion about this promotional strategy of the game. An avid fan of the game named Aria 68 shared his take:

"Drift0r does not spot anything accidentally.. every year when Actvision decide to turn on their hype machine for the upcomin COD games, they'll ask him to do it for them, and always he made it seems that everything got to him accidentally and now this.. Oh pls.!."

In the earlier part of this year, it was officially announced that Treyarch would make Call of Duty 2015, making it the first time the developer to develop a game in three years. Usually, it's anticipated that an official teaser or trailer will be released in early May, which is what this supposed ad campaign could likely be leading to.

It's definitely a more clever move to get gamers more interested for Call of Duty 2015, assumed by many to be a part 2 of Treyarch's Black Ops series, while trying to unfold more clues to remake the previous title of the game. As always, fans you will need to stay tuned for more updates about Call of Duty 2015 until its launch!
