The new Surface 3 is officially out and is said to compete well with Apple MacBook array in terms of performance and design. However, Surface 3 and Surface Pro 3 look strikingly alike and this may be an issue to consumers keen with "new" features.

Here are the significant differences between the two models.

Size. Surface 3 has a 10.8-inch display in relation to the bigger Surface Pro with a 12-inch display. Along with this difference, they also come at varied resolutions. Most tablets in the markets to date sports ultra HD cameras and the Microsoft Surface products lines which boast as the perfect hybrid between handset device and a laptop cannot be without an outstanding camera. The Surface 3 has a 8MP rear and a 3.5MP front cameras while Surface Pro 3 has the dual 5MP cameras.
