A recent report reveals the first episode to be entitled "Antipasto", which in Italian means before the meal. The title of the first seven episodes will have something to do with Italian food wherein the story will revolve around some hide and seek between Hannibal and criminal profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), FBI agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) and Dr. Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas). The new season will have two parts wherein the other one will have 6 episodes.

2 MORE ANTAGONISTS?

Furthermore, there is information that Hannibal will be caught and locked up in jail. It has also been disclosed that a favor will be asked from him by Graham in the later part of the season. This will happen when a new villain which is the "Tooth Fairy" described as someone who bites his victims, comes into the picture. Hannibal's dark past will also be digged into which explains why he has become what he is now. The flashback also sees him being married to a woman named Molly who makes him conquer his childhood nightmare.

The second part of Hannibal comprising 6-episodes will highlight Francis Dolarhyde as the Red Dragon, which is another villain as adapted in the Hannibal book.
