Fans of the dramedy are still hoping for some renewal news despite the fact that The CW was leaving viewers in the dark regarding whether or not the series would be renewed for another season.Can an online petition help save the show?
The CW President Mark Pedowitz had shared his thoughts regarding a possible season renewal.While he didn't exactly reveal the show's fate, Pedowitz was emphasizing that ratings played a big factor in the show's fate.
"We're going to see the ratings. I think Leila did a great job in the 10 episodes this year of making something fun for the fans. So if it ends, there's a great finale. If it doesn't end, there's a great season finale, but we're not committed one way or the other yet." Mark said.
Hart of Dixie Season 4 ended as promised, Wade and Zoe did end up together, with Lemon and Lavon being "coupled up" as well. Was this the 'happy ending' that the show creators have promised?
"Folks wondering why Hart of Dixie got canned? Simple numbers game folks. Ratings still matter and dictate wins and losses. You have to WATCH." tweeted Scott Porter, who plays George Tucker in the show.
Could an online petition help save Hart of Dixie? E! News has launched its annual 'Save One Show' campaign, which places TV series in jeopardy of being cancelled against each other. The said competition, is in its final round would end on Wednesday, April 6 at 5 p.m. PT. "Hart of Dixie" has made its way into the finals along with ABC drama "Agent Carter." Both series are pretty much neck and neck with each other, and viewers are given a chance to decide which of the two shows will be given a chance to be saved from the ax.
