Billboard Music Awards 2015 Update: Swift, Azalea, Trainor battles Billboard charts award

While it is still over a month before one can predict on who could turn out among the nominees for various categories in the Billboard Music Awards 2015, as early as now, fans have a say on who they want the Billboard chart achievement award to go to. The three artists they can vote for are Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea and Meghan Trainor.

FEMALES LEAD NOMINEES

The Billboard announced recently the finalists for the music awards wherein Taylor Swift emerged with the most number of entries (14) in different categories, followed by Sam Smith (13), Iggy Azalea (12) and Meghan Trainor (9). Their song or album's sales and airing on the radio, video or audio streaming, social media interactions and touring from March 10, 2014 to March 8, 2015 have become the basis for being a finalist. For the separate category which is the Billboard Chart Achievement award to be presented by Samsung, fans can vote via Twitter, or through their official website choosing either Swift, Azalea and Trainor.

Some of the songs that were nominated in the 41 categories of the Billboard Music Awards were Swift's Shake it Off, Azalea's (featuring Charli XCX) Fancy and Trainor's All About that Bass which are all finalists in the Top 100 Hot Song category. The three will also compete under the Top Female Artist, Top 100 songs, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist and Top Streaming Artist.

Other categories for the Billboard Music Awards 2015 include Top Soundtrack, Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top New Artist, Top Duo/Group, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Touring Artist, Top Social Artist, Top R & B Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Latin Artist, Top Rock Artist, Top Christian Artist, Top Dance/Electronic Artist, Top R & B Album, Top Rap Album, Top Country Album, Top Rock Album, Top Latin Album, Top Dance/Electronic Album, Top Christian Album, Top Digital Song, Top Radio Song, Top Streaming Song, Top R & B Song, Top Rap Song, Top Country Song, Top Rock Song, Top Latin Song, Top Dance/Electronic Song and Top Christian Song. The Billboard Music Awards 2015 will be shown live on May 17 at 8 p.m.at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be aired over at ABC.
