Recall that Sharon divulges to Dylan what she remembers at the night of Austin's murder. She is chiefly concerned that she will be framed up by the mysterious person in the car who saw her outside the Abbott Cabin. Unknown to Sharon, Dylan knows more about Austin's death. Spoilers for the Thursday episode of The Young and the Restless suggest how Paul tries to convince Dylan to reveal everything he knows about the murder and the cover-up that shrouds the case. Will Dylan listen to Paul and reveals what he hides to the police? Could it be that he murdered Austin himself?
The story on The Young and the Restless progresses as Dylan instead hires Avery as her lawyer in order to seal her mouth and everything she knows by virtue of the lawyer-client confidentiality doctrine. After Dylan gives Avery cash, he shows her the flat iron tire and confesses that Sharon is being framed. Avery wonders what her motives are and Dylan admits it is the interview she had with Austin and Sharon's plan to blackmail Nick. Paul appears and warns Dylan of the alibi he fabricates. Paul questions Dylan if Sharon is worth all the risks he subjects himself into, Dylan retaliates and says he is convinced of Sharon's innocence. Looking at Dylan resolved, Avery agrees to test the iron tested for blood and fingerprints.
More teaser about on The Young and the Restless show that Nick learns of Sharon's interview with Austin just days before he died. Nick mentions as well that he regrets digging into the matter but disclaims that he is not the one who concealed the case to the police. Although everyone thinks that Sharon did not kill Austin, most of them believe he has motives and this is the "interview" they had. It is important to highlight that Sharon hopes the secrets of the interview dies with him.
