Ryan Murphy has just confirmed that Kathy Bates will be back in the upcoming "American Horror Season 6 Hotel". New faces joins the show, including Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson, as Jessica Lange waves her goodbye.
"Kathy Bates is running the Hotel." That tweet from American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that Bates is back! Fan replies to the tweet shows much support for the return of the multi-talented actress to the AHS fold. This will be the third season for Bates in American Horror Story Anthology Series after making co-starring appearances in Coven and Freak Show.
While one star is coming back, another is already confirmed to go. After top billing the previous four seasons of AHS, female lead Jessica Lange recently announced that she will not be part of the fifth installment. Even while the fourth season was being made, Lange was already rumored to be on her way out. The confirmation came at Paleyfest 15 when Lange said that she's done with the show.
Such confirmation also suggests that she won't be joining Lady Gaga for the new season entitled Hotel. Last month, Lady Gaga herself revealed the news that she will be part of the latest AHS update. Murphy followed up her announcement saying that people will be shocked with what Lady Gaga is going to bring to the table.
The "Born This Way" hit maker is not the only new face that AHS watchers will be meeting once the fifth installment is launched. Cheyenne Jackson has also been confirmed to be joining the cast for American Horror Story: Hotel.
To date, several names have already been confirmed for "American Horror Story" Season 5 including the returning Chloe Sevigny who was part of the Asylum season. Wes Bentley is also coming back to the show along with Matt Bomer. The latter has been casted as the male lead for the fifth season and is making his comeback after appearing in one episode of the anthology's fourth season. Sarah Paulson and Denis O'Hare are also looking to be part of Hotel as well.
