Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are both smashing with record-breaking sales. Just when iPhone has nowhere left to go, the technology tycoon still has a few magic tricks in store for Apple fans all over the world and this breakthrough is called, iPhone 7.

According to a reliable industry insider, Apple decides to skip the release of the much anticipated iPhone 6S to give way for iPhone 7. The source adds that the difference between the two transcends beyond nomenclatures. Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, a Korean financial analyst, predicts that the company needs to move forward in releasing a transitory "S" product if it wishes to sustain their competition with Samsung.

Ming-Chi Kuo further indicates in an article in ValueWalk that Apple is sure to incorporate the Force Touch technology first used on the Apple Watch in iPhone 7. He sites that this feature effective separates iPhone 7 from Samsung's Galaxy 6S and Galaxy Edge. Several industry sources express the untapped potentials of the Force Touch technology most especially on its applications in icon manipulations. They expect Apple to look closely into the iPhone's structural design in order to make full use of Force Touch. This careful analysis spells the difference between

"There are two possible structural designs for Force Touch from a technology viewpoint. The Force Touch sensor can either be placed between the cover lens and the In-cell touch panel or under the In-cell touch panel's backlight. In the first position, the technological challenge lies with how to produce the transparent Force Touch sensor; in the second position, the challenge is how to reduce signal interference from in-cell touch panel. Our understanding of the technology is that producing a transparent Force Touch sensor is more difficult, so the chances are the new iPhone this year will opt for the second position." says Kuo.

They predict that once Apple takes the technology to a higher level that connotes a major interface revamp to the current iPhone. With this in mind, KGI predicts iPhone 7 to be killer and an almost different level than the current flagship.
