Dragon Ball XenoVerse DLC 2 Features New Characters, Patches to Gameplay: Anti-cheating Measures Unveiled

By

Slated in different platforms, Dragon Ball XenoVerse DLC 2nd Pack will be released sometime next week with new patch notes stated as well as new characters in the gameplay. These patches were made available for players to increase level cap as well as to address connectivity errors to servers.

Recently, there were reports made citing the patch notes to include in the second pack. According to them, these patches were developed to answer the bugs that were previously discovered by gamers from the gameplay.

To recall the content of the first DLC, it contained new playable characters as well as their respective new moves, quests and some of its accessories and costumes needed for their characters.

It seemed that the previous patch were made for improving the appearance of the characters in each of the battle, not really addressing to the game bugs or any errors unlike with the upcoming patch to arrive by next week.

So far, there was no exact date of release announced by Bandai Namco yet as of the moment, but it is expected to have the schedule by early next week, at least. Thus, the fans should keep their selves updated to whatever the game developer will be revealing by the next few days in this writing.

For now, what the fans could take note are the general patch notes that were revealed in which the majority of them are trying to address the server errors to the game. Aside from that, they are also adding new playable characters like the first released DLC last month and even some countermeasures against players' cheating.

Here's the full list of DLC 2 Pack patch notes:

General patch:

  • Increased level cap from 80 to 85
  • Incident rate of WARNING during parallel quests has been increased
  • The position of Masters has also been changed
  • Changed the spec when disconnected from XenoVerse servers. When players are disconnected from XenoVerse servers, they still can play offline mode, now. (Before this update, users had to be back to title screen).
  • Although Time Space delivery and Campaign events won't be available, online battles and parallel quests will be still available from each online reception.
  • Countermeasure against cheating: Players who have been employing various cheating techniques will not be able to log into multi-lobbies or join online battles or parallel quests.
  • Added version information on title screen.

Aside from these notes, Bandai Namco also set the online battle rule changes for the game as listed below:

  • During endless battles, capsules cannot be used.
  • Communication delay during online battles has been reduced.
  • Made adjustment on time patrol, battles, and parallel quests.

For only around $10, avid Dragon Ball XenoVerse can already have their DLC pack. But the game developer also said that if the users have their season pass, they can have three planned packs for only $25. Yet, there were no announcements made from Bandai Namco regarding the total size of the second pack of Dragon Ball XenoVerse DLC.

Slated for next week release, Dragon Ball XenoVerse DLC 2 pack arrives with new features.
